Roman Nogin

ROMAN NOGIN was born in 1976, Kharkov, Ukraine. He graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (former Kharkiv Institute of Industrial Arts) in 1999, chair of Mural Painting. He has been fruitfully participating in regional, All-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions. He is a lecturer in drawing at Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts since 1999. The most of Nogin's works are kept in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Nederland, Britain, China, Taiwan. was born in 1976, Kharkov, Ukraine. The Main Themes And Series Of Paintings: Series ”Jazz People”: This Series Includes Compositions Of Various Types (Portraits, Compositions Of Several Figures, Decorative And Abstract Compositions From Musical Instruments), But United By One Theme - The Music Of Jazz. The Main Concept Of All These Paintings Is To Express The Music Of Jazz Through Color, Plastic Lines And Shapes, Styling And Transformation Of Images. For Example: In Portraits Of Musicians, I Transform The Face, Hands, And Musical Instruments In A Single Plastic Language, Combining Figurative And Underlining What Creates Music That Is Independent Rhythmic Essence Of The Whole Image. Series "Memory Of Cities": These Pictures Are United By A Common Theme - A Concept That Can Be Called - "Imprint Of Time In Space." The Compositions Are Based On The Symbols Of Art, Architecture, Nature And The Spirit Of The Society Of Different Eras, The Concentration Of The History Of Civilization. Images Of Women In Splendid Dresses With Fancy Hairstyles Are Very Dynamic In Color And Plastic Of Lines And Silhouettes - This Is Expressed, In My Opinion, The Essence Of A Woman’s Soul, Emotion, Mood Variability And Enchanting. However, The Overall Construction Of The Compositions Of These Paintings Remains Quite Abstract, Devoid Of Strict Specificity, And Make The Viewer To Fantasize.
