David, born and raised in the western states of USA, has been taking photos of anything outdoors that would move (or, didnâ€™t move) since the days of the â€œBrownieâ€ camera. Having used â€œ4x5â€ and â€œ5x7â€ format cameras in high school photography, he found the 35mm both realistic and somewhat affordable. With film being a valuable luxury, he remembered what his photography instructor meant when he said â€œAlways take the best picture you possibly canâ€. That philosophy is still used today with digital equipment. The best picture means less editing in the dark room or at the computer.
â€œThe camera gets me outdoors. I usually end up where the lens leads me.â€
