Rangga Partogi

I have working experiences for more than 10 years, working with the media and in information, education programme, and communications. I am used working in consultation and collaboration with government officials, preparing updated communication strategy and work plan to raise government and partners’ awareness on the projects.

For USAID Lestari, I am responsible in close collaboration with Papua Natural Resource Centre (BBKSDA), preparing Kabupaten Mappi and Boven Digoel Landscape Conservation Plan Executive Summary, posters and infographic on Papua spatial planning, and video on Cycloop Nature Reserve, to raise both local government and community awareness on conservation, biodiversity, and climate change. I manage media initiatives in form of media workshops in 2018 and 2019 on Papua Nature Reserves and South Papua Spatial Planning. I managed interactive dialogues on RRI Jayapura with local government officials also in 2018, and public service announcements on World Water Day to disseminate both USAID Lestari and local government work on preserving water natural resources in Kabupaten/Kota Jayapura.

In USAID HELM, I prepare project’s periodic newsletter and submit articles about project activities in the country for publication on USAID websites and liaise with USAID Development Outreach and Communication Specialist. I ensure the work plan has a realistic timeline, budget and is in line with USAID HELM’s existing communication toolkit. I assist in the preparation and updating of presentations, reports and public information material, adhere to USAID branding and marking regulations. Also, I manage media initiatives in the form of activity coverage or press releases with printed media in Medan, Padang, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Makassar, and a television channel in Malang.
